חלקו הראשון של היום יוקדש להיכרות עם כמה מהפרוייקטים העירוניים פורצי הדרך של אמסטרדם, המשמשים מודל לחיקוי עבור ערים רבות בעולם.
נצא בקבוצות צוערים מעורבות לסיורים באיזורים המתחדשים של העיר בהדרכת מדריכים מקומיים.
נשוב לכיתת הלימוד למפגש עיבוד, ואחר הצהריים נפגוש את איתי גרמי, חבר מועצת העיר אמסטרדם שנבחר לא מכבר. הוא יספר על עבודתו ועל נקודת המפגש שבין הפוליטיקה לדרג המקצועי, ועל תחומי האחריות שלו במועצה.
לאחר מכן נצא לערב חופשי לחוות ולגלות עוד את העיר, והפעם באופן עצמאי.
